I started Theme Come True after working for more than a decade in corporate communications and PR. I gained tons of valuable experience planning corporate events, but deep down I knew it wasn't my calling. My passion is for parties that bring family and friends together, whether it's celebrating a birthday, a wedding or a baby-on-the-way. So I created Theme Come True so I could help people celebrate all of life's special occasions.

I specialize in creating events that mix luxury with DIY. Combining these two elements in the right way makes a party feel both lavish and personal. Plus it works for any budget!

I live in Lincoln Park and love the city despite hating the winters. I graduated from the University of Illinois and am still a diehard Illini fan. I love a good cocktail - whisky please! And mostly importantly, I’m the proud mama to Walter, my handsome English bulldog.
